To be brutal, Sonic has never fared all that well in three dimensions, and the console release of Sonic Unleashed – and the introduction of the obscure Werehog – was something of a disaster.
The mobile version, however, keeps things strictly 2D, and we find Sonic returning to form as he once again sprints around the winding, high speed rollercoaster tracks.
It’s great to see the mobile platform put the speedy creature back on track in the highest quality update Sonic has seen in quite a long time.
